Lincoln Brewster new CD is coming

The newest CD from Lincoln Brewster, “Today Is The Day” will be released on September 23, 2008!

Thanks to Ronald,Lincoln is the top hit of my ipod playlist, I really dig his vintage tone. How he get that tone? This is what he said

'..What kind of gear are you playing?
I actually get asked this question a lot! People will come up to me and say, "dude, your tone is amazing , what do you use?" When I tell them a typical response would sound something like, "Are u seriohttp://www.blogger.com/img/gl.link.gifus?" or "There's no way" or "Don't you miss that real tube-y sound?". I always want to say, "You're the one who's asking me how to get my tone and you're the one who's liking it, and now you're having trouble accepting that you can get that type of sound for around $400!"

The answer to this tends to surprise a lot of people but it goes to show that when people listen with their ears and not with their eyes they get a much more true response to what's good and what's not. Most of my life I've just simply had to do a lot with little and I couldn't afford to go out and buy a bunch of vintage or boutique amps. So, the gear I use today has been a real blessing to me as well as to a lot of other guitar players who have found themselves in the same situation... and believe me if I thought for a second that my tone was being compromised by the gear that I'm using I would stop using it immediately.
